Member Care Ministry Teams

Caring Hearts  Caring Hearts Ministry cooks meals for DCC families in time of need, e.g., birth of a baby, hospitalization, or a family tragedy. It’s organized into teams that rotate meal preparation. Duties include cooking a portion of the dinner while a set individual gathers and delivers.

Community and Small Groups  These groups provide intimate settings for Bible study, prayer, and fellowship. Leading, hosting or simply attending allows growth along with an opportunity to lead others to the Lord.

Hail and Farewell  This Ministry Team is responsible for organizing special programs to welcome new families and individuals and to recognize those relocating. These events occur biannually during our Spring Variety Show and Fall Festival Night.

Meal Preparation   Meal Teams shop, prepare, cook and serve delicious meals for Wednesday evening dinner at 6:00PM. Each teams duties are carried out once per month.

Visitor Follow-up   Visitor Follow-up Ministry Team works to connect with visitors by baking cookies and delivering them along with a welcoming note. Second time visitor are given a CD of worship music and an informative church letter.
